Please be advised that these are all small rescue groups completely supported by donations and volunteers and have limited space to accept new adoptees. Please call them directly if you would like to volunteer and help them save these precious lives.
Seattle's Best L'il Cat Rescue - this is our little cat rescue program. We will mostly be working with other rescue groups to provide kitten fostering, but will also accept cat/kittens needing relocation as space allows. All foster cats/kittens are vet checked and combo tested before coming into our home, and all are altered before they are adopted. All rescue cats/kittens available for adoption are listed on Petfinder.
Feral Care - located in the Seattle area. They provide education to the public on feral cats and care, as well as helps with TNR - trap, neuter, release, the humane way to help control our feral cat population. Through TNR tame homeless cats are caught, these are available for adoption at some local All The Best Pet Care stores, please contact them for further information.
PURR Foundation - located in Tacoma. They currently do not list their cats/dogs on Petfinder but would love to with the help of a loving volunteer! They work hand in hand with Custer Road Vet, Dr. Ray DeCent is a valuable asset to this group. Their cats are available for viewing at Petsmart in Puyallup, or you can call them at 253-640-1269.
